We all love to follow our passion, but as we complete our education, earning livelihood takes priority and the passion takes the backseat. Meet Prashant Maheshwari, the man who has done it all! A science honours graduate from Kolkata, he has been dabbling between manufacturing engineering equipment, providing overseas education and motivational speaking.

Qs- You have so many feathers on your cap. Tell me about your professional journey from scratch.

Ans- My father used to manufacture engineering spares, so after my graduation, I joined him and gained the initial business experience. After 2 years I diversified into equipment manufacturing and formed a new company in the name of Mascot International. Gradually we started manufacturing mechanical equipments and assemblies for some of the biggest customers in India like Tata, L&T, Siemens and PSUs like SAIL, GRSE, NALCO etc. In last 18 years we have worked with at least 25-30 large corporates and PSUs. I still love this technology oriented field.

However from the beginning, I was inclined towards education, guiding and counseling people and kept looking for some professional diversification related to the same. In 2014 came the opportunity and we started an Overseas Education Consultancy in the name of Zenith Educational Services which provides complete solutions to students  including college selection, application, admission ,Visa and final accommodation arrangement for students who wish to study abroad. Now with our growing tie-ups with universities worldwide and uncompromised services to the students, we are doing quite well and are on our way to achieve greater success.

Qs- That's great. Apart from everything you have mentioned so far, is there anything else you do?

Ans- I am also pursuing motivational speaking which I couldn’t pursue earlier because of my professional engagements. I also intend to write a few books in near future which can positively transform people's thoughts.

Qs- What are your views on autograph collection?

Ans- Honestly, I don’t know too much about it, but I do know that it is a great hobby and it connects you with many interesting people from various walks of life. I have heard quite a bit about it from my friend Santosh Lahoti. He has a great collection and he has also been a Limca Book of Records holder.

Qs- You like motivating people. Please give us a motivational message.

Ans- Difficulties and challenges are a part of everyone's life, so even if you go through any rough patch or encounter any setback in your personal or professional life, Never Give Up. Work tirelessly till you achieve your goal. Also, always follow your passion. Sometimes, you may think that you are too old to follow your passion, it is too late now, but trust me, it is never too late! Just go for it!
